Growing notes
It can reach about 15–20 feet tall at maturity. Leaf color can bronze in summer and varies by climate; it is not an evergreen screen. Choose well-drained soil, maintain even moisture and provide afternoon shade in hot conditions. Protect young foliage from drying wind and late frost. A dormant plant may arrive without leaves.
