Dense Spreading Yew brings low, broad evergreen structure to foundation beds and borders. Its dark foliage can be clipped into a low hedge or allowed to form a spreading shrub.

Growing notes
Plan for approximately 3 to 4 feet of mature height and 4 to 6 feet of width, depending on care and conditions. Best suited to USDA zones 4 to 7; check local suitability before ordering in hot climates. Choose sun to partial sun with moist, well-drained soil, and water during establishment. Growth takes time, so a young plant will not provide an instant hedge. Yew is poisonous if eaten: keep plants and prunings away from children, pets and livestock. This is an ornamental plant, not an edible crop.
