Flame Thrower Redbud is a deciduous tree grown for heart-shaped foliage that changes through burgundy, yellow and green tones. Its spring flowers are pink to purple, not fiery red.

Growing notes

Allow roughly 15–20 feet of height and 10–15 feet of spread at maturity. Choose sun to partial shade and well-drained soil, watering regularly during establishment.
