  • Description: Philodendron ‘Choco Empress’ is a rare climbing hybrid prized for its large, velvety heart-shaped leaves. Juvenile leaves emerge a deep chocolate-brown or burgundy, maturing into dark green with golden undertones and pronounced veins. Its velvety texture gives it a regal, luxurious look—hence the name “Empress.” It’s a vigorous climber when given a moss pole or support and can develop very large leaves under the right conditions.

  • Care: Grows best in partial to full shade, with moist, rich soil and consistent watering. Protect from harsh sun to prevent leaf scorch.
