Plant details

Meet this plant.

Pinguicula crassifolia is a perennial heterophyllous species, it produces summer leaves from May to September, and winter leaves during winter. It was first discovered in 1976, but was confused with P. macrophylla, in 1988 it was finally described as a new species. The epithet, crassifolia is from the Latin crassus (thick) and folium (leaf), in reference to the succulent leaves formed during winter.

The plants on the pictures are representative, you will get a similar plant.

The plant has been growing under LED lights with a temperature of 75~80° during the day and 55~70° at night.

The pinguicula will be shipped bare root in a plastic container to protect the plant, if you need soil please select the bare-root + soil option . We shipping plants Monday and Wednesday to avoid the weekend cut off.

Questions about plant options, delivery, tracking, or an order? Inty is here to help before and after your purchase.

Will my plant look exactly like the photo?

Live plants naturally vary in height, branching, leaf count, color, and shape. Photos show the variety and typical presentation.

Can items arrive separately?

Yes. Plants can have different preparation times and packaging needs, so one order may receive more than one tracking number.

What should I do when it arrives?

Unpack promptly, inspect the plant, water only when needed, and let it acclimate before making major care changes.
