Armandii Snowdrift Clematis is a vigorous climber with leathery foliage and fragrant white spring flowers. It suits a sheltered site where its vines have room to develop on a substantial support.

Growing notes

Allow substantial climbing room: mature height can reach approximately 13 to 26 feet, with 8 to 13 feet of spread. Choose a sheltered sunny site with well-drained soil, keeping the root area cool and shaded. Train onto a support, which is not included, and prune only as needed after flowering. Evergreen foliage depends on suitable mild conditions; protect from cold winds. Wear gloves when handling because sap can irritate skin. Flowers are seasonal and may be absent on arrival.
