Plant details

Meet this plant.

Fittonia is also known as Nerve Plant. This colorful plant is native to south American rainforests. They are known for "fainting" when they don't get enough water, but will jump right back up after a quick drink! Because these plants are native to rainforest floors they can tolerate some shade, this makes them great houseplants to add color to some of your homes shadier spots!

Recommendations for growing success:

Light: Filtered indirect light, shade is tolerated

Water: Water regularly in spring and summer months, water more sparingly in winter

Repotting: Repot in spring

Ceramic pot not included.  Not all items offered online are available in-store.

Questions about plant options, delivery, tracking, or an order? Inty is here to help before and after your purchase.

Will my plant look exactly like the photo?

Live plants naturally vary in height, branching, leaf count, color, and shape. Photos show the variety and typical presentation.

Can items arrive separately?

Yes. Plants can have different preparation times and packaging needs, so one order may receive more than one tracking number.

What should I do when it arrives?

Unpack promptly, inspect the plant, water only when needed, and let it acclimate before making major care changes.
