Pinguicula calderoniae {llano del conejo, San Luis Potosi}

Pinguicula calderoniae {llano del conejo, San Luis Potosi} is a perennial plant that produces two different types of leaves, winter bulb during winter and narrow linear leaves during summer, about 4-8 summer leaves are produced each season. The species name honours Méxican botanist Mrs. Graciela Calderón de Rzedowski. This pinguicula was discovered in 2000 during exploration of Llano Chiquito and Llano del Conejo valleys in the Sierra Madre Oriental, in a region also known as Sierra Gorda.

The plant's sizes are: When the plant is in dormancy it becomes a bulb of about 0.15-0.25" in diameter. Please note that this plant is currently in bulb stage at the moment.
