Plant details

Meet this plant.

Pinguicula "Jellyfish" is a beautiful in-house complex hybrid created at Rainbow in 2024. This particular butterwort gets pinkish/reddish under strong lights and its leaves are very dewy. It also has a beautiful purple flower with a darker center.  We gave it the name "Jellyfish" because it resembles a red jellyfish when the plant is all red and dewy.

The plants on the pictures are representative, you will get a similar plant. [Plants are not flowering at the moment]

You'll get a similar plant to the ones in the picture. Please note that some plants are greener than others but will turn pink/reddish under intense lights.

The plants are shipped bare root in a plastic container to protect the plants. We ship the plants on Mondays and Wednesdays to avoid the weekend cut off.

The plant's size is about 1" in diameter.

It is strongly recommended to get a heating pack during the winter to protect your plant from low temperatures, we are not responsible for dead plants that did not have a heating pack during transit. 1 heating pack per order is enough.

Questions about plant options, delivery, tracking, or an order? Inty is here to help before and after your purchase.

Will my plant look exactly like the photo?

Live plants naturally vary in height, branching, leaf count, color, and shape. Photos show the variety and typical presentation.

Can items arrive separately?

Yes. Plants can have different preparation times and packaging needs, so one order may receive more than one tracking number.

What should I do when it arrives?

Unpack promptly, inspect the plant, water only when needed, and let it acclimate before making major care changes.
