Plant details

Meet this plant.

Tillandsia is the largest genus in the bromeliad family. Tillandsia, also known as "air plant". This means that it doesn't need soil, but, instead, obtains water and nutrients from the air. They absorb the water through their leaves, not their roots – the roots serve no other purpose than to cling on to other objects. They also look great clustered in a bowl or used in a centerpiece.

For sale is Ionantha Guatemala. These plants are normally green, but they turn red when flowering and produces and beautiful purple flowers. CARE IS EASY mist every so often and dunk occasionally depending on climate. Allow plenty of time for the plant to dry, you can mount or put these just about anywhere!

Questions about plant options, delivery, tracking, or an order? Inty is here to help before and after your purchase.

Will my plant look exactly like the photo?

Live plants naturally vary in height, branching, leaf count, color, and shape. Photos show the variety and typical presentation.

Can items arrive separately?

Yes. Plants can have different preparation times and packaging needs, so one order may receive more than one tracking number.

What should I do when it arrives?

Unpack promptly, inspect the plant, water only when needed, and let it acclimate before making major care changes.
