Plant details

Meet this plant.

Fragrant citrus for a sunny growing space

Improved Meyer Lemon is a relatively compact citrus with thin-skinned, juicy fruit and a distinctive lemon aroma. Grow it as a patio container tree or in a suitable warm-climate garden. Its fragrant flowers and glossy foliage provide interest between harvests.

What makes it different

Meyer lemon has lemon and orange ancestry. The Improved selection replaced earlier Meyer material associated with citrus tristeza virus. The variety name does not mean a tree is immune to pests or diseases; good growing conditions and regular monitoring still matter.

Plan before planting

Choose a sunny position with well-drained soil. Container plants need drainage and ongoing attention to moisture. In colder climates, plan a bright, protected winter location. Check the selected size above; the supplied young tree will differ from photographs of mature, fruiting plants.

Flowers and harvest

Flowering and ripening depend on climate, plant maturity and care. Fruit or flowers are not guaranteed on arrival, and a first-season harvest should not be assumed. Allow the tree time to settle into its new growing conditions.

Questions about plant options, delivery, tracking, or an order? Inty is here to help before and after your purchase.

Will my plant look exactly like the photo?

Live plants naturally vary in height, branching, leaf count, color, and shape. Photos show the variety and typical presentation.

Can items arrive separately?

Yes. Plants can have different preparation times and packaging needs, so one order may receive more than one tracking number.

What should I do when it arrives?

Unpack promptly, inspect the plant, water only when needed, and let it acclimate before making major care changes.
