Growing notes
Allow space for roughly 15–30 feet tall and potentially 8–25 feet wide, depending on conditions and pruning. Choose sun to partial shade and acidic, well-drained soil; avoid wet sites. Water during establishment. It can produce some berries without a male pollinizer, but a heavy berry crop is not guaranteed. Young plants need time to provide screening. This is an ornamental plant; do not eat the berries.
