Plant details

Meet this plant.

Passiflora edulis, also known as Passion Fruit , Passionfruit or Passionflower, is an intricate and beautiful flowering vine native to the Americas. Native variants of passionflower can be found throughout North and South America, but it is cultivated around the world in tropical and subtropical areas for it's unique and highly prized edible fruit, foliage, and flora. The fruit is often made into delicious juice or eaten raw.

This purple passion fruit is a special edible and ornamental variety of the vine plant, which often yields large purple and deep blue fruit. Purple passion fruit has a unique tangy-sweet flavor, and each piece is filled with juicy flesh and soft seeds. The plant has fast creeping vines and is perfect for porches, decks, fences, and trellises!

Questions about plant options, delivery, tracking, or an order? Inty is here to help before and after your purchase.

Will my plant look exactly like the photo?

Live plants naturally vary in height, branching, leaf count, color, and shape. Photos show the variety and typical presentation.

Can items arrive separately?

Yes. Plants can have different preparation times and packaging needs, so one order may receive more than one tracking number.

What should I do when it arrives?

Unpack promptly, inspect the plant, water only when needed, and let it acclimate before making major care changes.
